Hats, shoes, and accessories in 1500~1600

Renaissance Europe (15th – 17th century)

I chose the period of Renaissance, mostly 16th century because I was attracted by the ruffled collar details used for men and women at that time. This detail was used throughout in European countries by rich, noble people, and it seemed to be the most distinctive accessory of its era. The fashion was considered important to show their high social status. They look so beautiful to me like a elaborate sculpture but I wonder how people could wear such uncomfortable clothes. I will use the woman figure template as a princess warrior and will place the ruffles not only around neck, also on waist and chest to display luxurious power.
